Mo Salah has sensationally claimed Liverpool have “thrown me under the bus” and shown a lack of respect, saying: Someone wants me out of the club 🚨
The 33-year-old accused the Reds hierarchy of breaking promises in the summer after he signed a new two-year £42million contract in April. Salah was demoted to the subs bench for the third match in a row and did not come on as Leeds rescued a 3-3 draw at Elland Road on Saturday night 😬
🗣️ In an astonishing interview, Salah said: “I don’t know what to say. It’s funny but I couldn’t believe it. It is a very disappointing result for us as a team.
“I can’t believe I am sitting on the bench for 90 minutes. I think it is the third time I’m on the bench, I think it is the first time in my career. I am very disappointed, I am very disappointed. I have done so much for the club, everybody can see that during the years, especially last season.
"To sit on the bench, I don’t know why. It seems like the club have thrown me under the bus, that is how I feel it. I think it’s very clear that someone wants me to get all the blame. The club promised in the summer, a lot of promise for me, and so far, I am on the bench for three games. All I can say is keep the promises.
"I had good relations with the manager and all of a sudden, we don’t have any relationships. I don’t know why. It seems to be me, how I see it, someone doesn’t want me at the club"
